SubTrack ("we", "us", "the app") is a subscription-tracking application. This privacy policy explains what data the app handles and how. The short version: SubTrack does not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on any server we control. Everything you enter lives on your phone.
1. Information stored on your device
When you use SubTrack, the following information is stored locally on your device using your phone's built-in storage:
- The subscriptions you add (name, price, billing cycle, category, next billing date, payment method, notes).
- Your preferences: language, currency, reminder time, and number of days before billing to be reminded.
- An optional name and profile picture you provide during onboarding.
This information is never sent off your device. We do not operate any server that receives it.
2. Information we do not collect
- We do not require an account, sign-in, or email address.
- We do not connect to your bank, credit card, or any financial institution.
- We do not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs in the app.
- We do not read your messages, contacts, photos (unless you explicitly pick a profile picture), or call logs.
3. Permissions we request
Notifications
SubTrack asks for permission to send local notifications so it can remind you before a subscription renews. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device. We do not run a notification server.
Photos
If you choose to set a profile picture, SubTrack asks permission to read a single image from your photo library. The image is stored on your device only.
4. App stores & platform providers
When you download SubTrack from the Apple App Store or Google Play, Apple or Google may collect usage and crash data on their own, governed by their respective privacy policies. We do not control or have access to this data beyond what those stores expose to all developers (aggregate, anonymized download and crash counts).
5. Children's privacy
SubTrack is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any data from anyone — including children — given the app does not collect data at all.
6. Deleting your data
Because all data lives only on your device, you can permanently delete everything at any time by:
- Opening Settings → Clear all data inside the app, or
- Uninstalling the app from your device.

7. Changes to this policy
If we ever change how SubTrack handles data, we will update this page and bump the "Last updated" date above. Material changes that affect what data leaves your device (there are none today) will be communicated within the app.
