These terms ("Terms") govern your use of SubTrack (the "app"). By downloading or using SubTrack, you agree to these Terms.
1. The app
SubTrack is a personal-finance utility that helps you keep track of recurring subscriptions and reminds you about upcoming renewals. It is provided as a free, offline-first mobile application. We do not host your data on our servers.
2. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the subscription data you enter. SubTrack does not verify amounts or dates against your bank.
- You are responsible for keeping your device secure. Because data is stored locally, anyone with access to your unlocked phone may see it.
- You agree not to misuse the app — for example by reverse-engineering it in violation of applicable law, or by attempting to disrupt other users' experience (though the app has no shared component).
3. Reminders are best-effort
Renewal reminders are scheduled as local notifications by your device's operating system. Things like battery saver, Do Not Disturb, force-closing the app, restoring your device from backup, or changing your timezone may delay or skip a notification. SubTrack is a helper, not a guarantee — you remain responsible for managing your subscriptions and the charges they incur.
4. No financial advice
SubTrack shows you what you've spent and what's coming. It is not financial advice. Any decisions you make about your subscriptions are yours.
5. Intellectual property
The SubTrack name, logo, and app code are owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark law. The brand names and logos of third-party services shown inside the app (e.g. Netflix, Spotify) belong to their respective owners and are used only to help you identify your subscriptions — we are not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.
6. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
SubTrack is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including missed charges, lost savings, or data loss arising from your use of the app.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
8. Termination
You can stop using SubTrack at any time by uninstalling it. We may discontinue the app at any time without notice.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which SubTrack's primary developer resides, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
